Skype 5.0

Skype 5.0
Lately I updated my Skype to the newer version Skype 5.0 and i found it good. I was surprised with their new features specially the stunning Facebook News Feed. Since Facebook is now the lifestyle of many people and also rated no. 1 social networking site according to Page Rank and no. 2 in Alexa Traffic Rank. From now on you can have your facebook on your Skype. Just click the skype home icon and select facebook tab. From there you can sign in and keep in touch with your facebook friends. You can also send an SMS to any of your friends by clicking on their number in the phonebook since the new Skype has a switchable view for your newsfeed or your Facebook phonebook that includes contact information for any of your Facebook friends who have made their phone numbers available.

Skype includes a text-entry box to update your Facebook status. You can also make your Facebook status update your Skype mood status. Your Facebook newsfeed in Skype will only let you add text updates or links. Suddenly, advanced features such as attaching video links with a screenshot, posting photos, videos or creating events from the status update bar are not available.

Skype was known a free program that has a lot of useful features. It allows you to talk and chat on the internet even in a low speed connection such as dial up. Also you can use a video call that allow you to perform conference communication with up to 25 people, sending instant message and SMS as well and etc.

Before Skype users experienced dropping calls that go on past 15 minutes or so. But now on Skype 5.0 improves call dependability that will automatically try to reconnect your call if it drops. The application will also offer you tips and advice to help you diagnose and troubleshoot the problem and avoid dropped calls in the future. Skype has also added some tweaks; including an improved full screen video chat to accommodate all those extra people you'll be seeing during group chat.
